Green Gunge!

how do you guys clear the green gunge that acumulates in the roof guttering and down the seams over winter? just a case of gettin stuck in? its real hard to shift!

If you polish the car well before next winter it won't stick as bad. For now, warm water and elbow grease is what's needed.

I use an ice lolly stick for the roof guttering.

Have a go at using some APC and agitating it with a brush :thumbsup:

I would vouch for the old toothbrush though, having used it for similar things on other cars.

You are lucky! I have an MGB GT and vw camper that get covered in it if I leave them. Luckily the mini lives in a nice dry garage. If you ever need any feel free to come ove, I have an entire patio of the stuff after lasts years monsoon of a summer.
