Can anyone recommend a DAB radio, that fits in the standard aperture, with an arial that is not too intrusive on the front screen.

Thanks in anticipation

Personally I like my Blaupunkt Woodstock but it's a few years old now so not sure you would get one new. It came with a short mast antenna for mounting on a window that I did use on the first car I had it in (Scimitar). The next two cars I used it in had one of these

There are two fine wires that extend from that black brick and the whole lot sticks on the inside of the screen. They can be had much cheaper and I would highly recommend one. Stick the block high on the passenger side of the screen with the wires extending downwards and you'll never notice it's there.

I've now got one of these.

It works fine but what a faff to fit! It's a multi-part thing with several fixed and critical location points that you are trying to stick to the edge of a windscreen. I'd spend the extra for the Blaupunkt style next time just because they are so much easier to fit.

I've got 2, a kenwood one and a cheapy £40 phillips one. Both are pretty good, the kenwood is a lot louder though.

The kenwood one has the stick on kenwood Ariel, that works well and in the cabby I've got an ariel splitter, this means you don't need a seperate ariel. It only works for non powered ariels though(ideal for a mini)
