This has probably been asked so many times if it could be done but has it been done? I have seen the arc angels streetwise doors but I am still a fan of having completely wound down windows on a door that isn't going to rust or dent (so steel and aluminium skins are out of the picture. Surely it can be done? lotus doors are fibreglass and they are solid as a rock!!

I don't see why it cannot be done. Some extra reinforcement in place should help out. Possibly Kevlar and fiber glass mixed together or carbon fiber.
