Hello,
Can anybody with a MINI mk 5 could help me and confirme through which way do the brake and fuel lines pass?
Is it through the red or blue trajectory?
Thanks a lot.

blue route for fuel line

What about the brake line?
It's the blue or the red route?
Thanks

On your picture viewed as it is taken.

left hand red for brakes.

right hand blue for fuel.

Your shell is the later rubber mounted type, the cut out that the blue line goes through in the bottom of the picture is for the fuel line to fit into.

Blue left is for the battery cable, it then runs into a lip under the floor

Yes... I also considered the red route for the brake lines. But the blue route is more simple than the red one.

At the right side, it's clear that's the blue route. But I have one problem. This is a brand new BMH shell and it doesn't have the servive clips to hold the fuel line. I found out that for this shell (mk4/5) is used the WJC10034 clip. Do I need to drill a hole in the shell, in order to attach this clips?
Thanks

A brand new body shell ? I would suggest welding on a weld stud and then make sure it is painted over to seal it, your weather is a lot better than ours so it shouldn't cause any corrosion issues, I think that drilling a hole is ok if you can seal it, I have all my fuel lines and brake pipes in aircraft nylon fixings that "POP" rivet to the floor but I painted each hole and then sealed the hole as I was applying the rivet.

Can you post a picture of your fixings?
Thanks

The following may help..

Try Demon tweaks or similar for P clips or pipe saddles

I will try to get a photo in the morning.
