Hi all, not sure if this is the right section- but I made myself a simple bearing puller to suit the rear hub bearings, and just wondered if anyone would be interested, as you need a press or a huge vice to do it otherwise!

Pic is below- it just means you can change your own bearings for free for MOT's etc, very easy job, I could make up kits with a drift for getting the old ones out too, and thinking about the front hubs as well. Any input welcome!

I don't know why you apparently need a press or a vice, but I've always used a either the old bearing or a suitable socket to gently hammer the new bearings in.

Only because it's not the best practice to hammer new bearings in, although I'm not saying it can't be done. I can't imagine any serious motorsport teams hammer new bearings in place, and they only care about things being done correctly so their cars are reliable!

Thanks, I just thought if I can knock some up and create a little set to help people do it themselves it could make life better for people who don't have all the big tools/know-how to do it themselves, and saves paying a garage to do it!
