Tried to fit my stage one to my 998 today, was all going great until I realised that the old manifold had the bolts coming out of it rather than the bolts going into it so I couldn't bolt the carb to the new inlet manifold!! Really annoying!!

huh? all inlet manifolds have the studs for the carb to go on. or am i thinking of something else?

Take the studs out of the old manifold and put them into the new inlet manifold...
I had an inlet without studs in and had to do this

I will try doing that if not ill be heading to get some new bolts which isn't too bad, not all bad news at least I found how to take it all apart and put it back together with no problems :)

No mini inlet manifolds use bolts, only studs use two nuts on the end of a stud tighten them together and use them to unscrew the stud from the inlet, then screw into new manifold and mount carb as before
