Not sure if this is the right section but I thought id share some of the pictures from the Mini Mine run. We started off at Crewe and then went to the Cat and Fiddle pub then onto Mini Mine. It was a good turnout with around 40 minis going on the run. The roads got worse and worse as we got closer to the Cat and Fiddle pub with the windscreens freezing up as we went along.Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

Looks like a good turn out, shame about the weather though

It was a cracking run, I saw your mini there Porl but didn't see who got out of it, or I would have said hello. I didn't get to take any photos unfortunately as I spent most of the run chasing mystery ignition problems and my wipers packed in, just as we were getting to the cat & fiddle. Then to finish off the bush in one of my rear dampers disintegrated on the way back down. Clunky clunky. >_< Never happens till the most unfortunate moment does it? Someones probably got a photo of me frantically wiggling the plug leads at the traffic lights while generally holding everyone else up. All good fun though and I hope to do it again, albeit in a less eventful way, next year. Did you do the detour? I chickened out owing to the increasing amount of noise from my mini. :(

Was a good day :) Mine is the green mk1, aka project shed :) I may need to raise the back suspension a bit - was bottoming out in a few places.
Great pics by the way!

No I decided against doing the detour. The road looked waaay to dodgy. Think I may have driven past you at the lights.

I was in the yellow mini behind...One minute you stopped at the lights, next I saw hazard lights and a bonnet coming up! haha! Hope you will get the mini sorted :)
