6x10 Weller Motor Sport wheels, or 6x10 Ultralites.

The Wellers will be shot blasted and painted in a lovely coat of anthracite grey if kept and used. But I can't decide between using the Wellers or selling them and saving for some ultralites.

This, but imagine them a darker grey and have tyres on them ;). Thoughts and opinions.

I'm leaning towards it. Sounds terrible but as much as I like the Ultralites, after just a few weeks at Mini Spares. Every Mini thats in the car park is on a similar if not the same set of wheels.

The 4 that I saw today, all had 5x12 anthracite Mini lights of some sort.

In all honestly, I've never seen another set, even in photos.

Since they're called. Weller 'Motorsport', were they actually used in Motorsport?

The Wellers without question. Every other mini has minilites, superlites, or ultralites

Edit: and every other make or style that looks exactly the same as the next from 10 paces away

Im unsure to be honest on that one but they maybe have been created for the road market due to insperation or demand from the actual motorsport used wellers (hence the name) which were 10x10 & if i remember seeing correctly only a handfull were made of these originals.

Looks like I'll be sending them to the shot blasters then.

I'm thinking Audi Dolphin Grey. Thoughts?
