Hi everyone, Exiting day today as I'm waiting for my mini to be delivered. It's been ten years since I've driven one. Sold a couple of projects a few years back as time and funds didn't allow me to do anything with them.
My first car was a mini and ended up selling her because I got into Vauxhalls. Had a few different cars since then, type r's and M'3s etc, but nothing will ever compare to the buzz and fun you get in a mini. So that's it really, been looking for a. While for a project and this one came up on eBay. Can't wait to get started and hopefully meet you all at future meets and events.

Welcome to tmf i have currently had the same news that my mum will be looking at buying me my first mini project have fun i know i sure will!

I'll try and get some pictures up soon, shells solid and ready for paint, well, bit of prep first. As for engine, I am quite tempted to go for a vauxhall engine, cheap and reliable I found with them. All in good time though. Malvern show next month to get some bits and go from there.

The wife tells me, it's my mid-life crisis, Just bought a mini '80 with 1275

!st one i've owned in 23 years, can't believe how just climbing in brought back such a joyous feeling.

I can well believe that I'm going to need this place a great deal, hope no-one gets offended by seemingly daft
