Well, if they are rubbish then I'll steer clear and find someone more reputable.

I'd stay away from Croydon Minis too- we've not seen their cars but the guy who runs the place came to see my Cooper when it was for sale- it was kinda worrying that he didn't even look under the bonnet or check sills, under carpets etc. He was more worried about the bodywork, so I get the feeling he just wants pretty cars that can be total rotters underneath! Stay clear. Sevenoaks Minis occasionally have something for sale, but they're not dealers- gve them a call though 01959 563434. I bought my 35 from there and they're as honest as you can get. xx

My friends mini came from GC Motors, he's got nothing bad to say about them. His ex mrs who owned it before him paid plenty of money for it, but it's a rare colour and has got nice add ons like electric windows, remote locking etc and it was in great condition when she bought it in 2003. My friend's sent a few friends their way and some of them weren't too impressed by the blokes attitude though.

Another friend of mine bought a mini from croyden minis and they were happy with it. it's not perfect, but very few minis out there are, and it's got full history to back up the mere 20k on the clock.

Yes I'm local to GC. As far as I've been in there for tyre fittings etc they have been very helpful. They always seem to have a vast range of cars, but in my opinion they are VERY expensive. I cannot however vouch for the quality of these cars.

We went to GC Motors a few months back.

Has a vast selection of Mini's but to be honest his overall 'Dodgy Dealer' attitude was very off putting, his Mini knowledge was poor imo and he had so many cars that had clearly been sat there for a very long time.

We also went to Croydon mini's on the same day and the contrast was huge! Very helpfull guys, decent knowledge, and some decent cars in stock. Pride themselves on turning modifield Coopers back to standard apparently.

to be honest I would recommend the Mini Mart. Long way to travel but this guys knows his Mini's, and has a very high quality of stock. We bought Bepe from him.
