In a spate of enthusiasm, my brother removed a huge amount of fittings from my mini for the restoration. In doing so he managed to forget how some important things are mounted. I'm currently test fitting new wings and front panel so have remounted the bonnet but I cant figure out how the brackets fit. They are brackets with bolts welded to them. So, In other words do the brackets fit with the fixed bolts pointing inwards or outwards?

The bolts point inwards. Ie the nuts go on the inner faces
