usual disclaimer noted about welding fuel tanks etc, but has anyone made a RH tank from a LH tank by repositioning the filler and blanking the original hole off . any Pics ??

sounds like a go'er then, Ive been give a 7.5 gallon lh tank, so have a spare to play with . I like the idea of weight distribution :)

As designed, battery on one side, 5 1/2 gallon tank on the other. A 1/2 full 5 1/2 gallon tank roughly equals the battery = weight distribution.
