Got my hands on a set of arches meant for a saloon which fit from underside into the lip. Fronts are Ok but backs look wrong, and if the old saying goes"if it doesn't look right then it isn't".
Question is, does the rear arch go right under the lower valance. This looks wrong..too short.
Has anyone any photos of the way the arch should fit?
This it sitting tight against the lip
and lowered a bit so the back edge touches the finisher

On a saloon the arch would sit tight against the lip on the car as that's what they are attached to

I was wondering if I used a spacer under the lip to get the arch to sit lower and leave it like pic 2
