Floor Gap Help

i am fitting a new floor to my mini 25 but the floor won't line up with the rear bins please if someone could advise how i can close the gap? or it it is all right to be a gap?

I’d tack every inch or so along the floor if that section of the repair lines up and then carefully using a jack/wood from underneath to close up the gap. Then if the inner sill now sits higher than the door step flange, which it probably will, trim it back so it’s flush before welding.
Or tack the floor as before and along the doorstep flange and using a length of wood or similar gently hammer the flange down to meet the floor from the inside of the rear bin. Or maybe a combination of both of the above.

yuck bodge repair dont weld up the bin, and make floor repair panel fit where rust holes are :)
