Teng Torque Wrenches are good, or the Halfords advanced professional range.

the halfords scissor ball joint splitter is good, or the drapper one isn't much more expensive, just make sure you get a scissor type one, anything else is useless

torque wrench id either go for sealey or williams, you will need one which goes up to and beyond 200lb/f i think if youre doing wheel bearings, as for the splitter the easiest ones to use are the ones with a bolt which you tighten to split the ball joint the ones you just hammer in are a lot harder to use and you risk damaging bodywork ;)

Couldnt find my ball joint splitter the other day, and had to remove both front hubs!

a little trick that works is to give the arm connected to the ball joint a sharp tap with a hammer and it comes off easily :)
May want to give that a go as it worked for both sides!

I generally use the 'thwack with a hammer route' use a cooper/hide hammer and you won't do any damage to the hub.

Hit what it goes through.
