That's a thing of beauty. All other Matt/satin black Minis I've seen look like cheapo bodge jobs done on a £50 budget, but this is something else

me,i don't like shiny paint jobs (thats just me) but love matte black especially when without chrome and abit worn!! in saying that i haven't had a car that colour yet so have had to make do with the shine lol.
a gloss black needs to be kept properly as much as matte so its what ever way ye swing it yourself pal... not an easy decision but just as hard to recommend on because its you who will be driving the car and have to look at it daily.... soooo all i can say is try something different if you fancy a change ;D

all i ask for is pics

Definitely get to a show if you've not seen a matte car in the flesh, so to speak. If it goes ahead, himleys a good day out anyway.

Matte paint was a flash in the pan, its been and gone now, it was last years fashion. Shiny paints been the norm for years for a reason.

What can look really good is a gloss finish with matte detailing (cooper stripes, city logo on rear quarters, pinstripe etc) or the other way round. I work in a high end bike shop and this is a popular scheme on some of the £2500+ models. The black has to be identical though.
