Hi, does anyone recommend bilthamber etchweld primer? http://www.bilthamber.com/etchweld ?

It's just cheaper than upol acid 8 and can also be used as a weld through primer

Thanks

Chris

Not used it myself but if its got weld through properties, it might have a zinc content.... which is good.
Ive never had much joy with weld-thru primers to be honest, but any self etch is better than a zinc rich primer on bare metal.

I swear by ProXL etch primer, bloody good stuff.

remember mate its the stuff thats going on 1st/bare metal and is designed to protect ur mini or paintwork. so id buy something that works well!!!
just my advise

if that stuff u have used before and works well go with it but if not i wouldnt use it. find something with some good reviews or that others have used and recommend.

2 pack etch would be great but if not upol acid 8 is very good!!! more expensive yes!! but if u can spray it from a gun... it will work out a lot cheaper!!! about £30 last time i bought some.
