Random question but does anyone know if the mk1 metro fuel sender unit kit is the same and the one fitted the later 88 metro ? As eBay only lists it for cars up to 1984 ? Cheers !

Afraid I don't know, suppose you could look to see if there's a change point on the tanks - 2nd thoughts they did revise the filler location. The instruments changed from Mk1 to Mk2 so maybe it's purely electrical?

Oh dear just went to a motor factors and they laughed at me! :( driving around with no fuel guage ain't fun!
