The handle is held by two screws, one is behind the door card and the other is behind the latch mechanism outside the door edge. Take everything off the door card and remove the card. Remove the tape from the hole behind the handle. Release the latch from the edge of the door's frame and let it hang loosely. Then release the two small screws holding the handle to the door. The handle lock is then just secured to the latch with a clip which should pull away. The handle push button isn't secured as it's just a plunger that pushes on the latch so the handle will now come off in your hands. If you aren't removing the interior handle and the private lock then you can just leave the latch hanging on its levers but if you need to be able to secure the car obviously just screw it back into place. You will still be able to lock it from inside or by reaching through the hole in the door but it won't be very secure.

Take the door card off, inside the door shell the handle has 2 screws that keep the handle on, the left hand one you can get too, the right hand one is easier if you take the screws out that hold the door lock on and move it a bit.

Cheers lads! The only problem now is I lost my new gaskets and the old ones split! And if I order some new ones it'll take about a week if not more!

Is it a paper gasket? Sorry, I can't remember if they are or not. You may still be able to get gasket paper from a local auto factors and make a new one?

I don't think that it was a paper one I tried making one but didn't see the point in bodging it in the end as the car won't be going anywhere and its in the yard which is locked so no real need ordered some of the cheers
