Hi All,

I was ready to cut out my turbo box in the bulkhead today, but then noticed that the heater brackets are located where I will be cutting the fire wall out.

Now if i cut this out, do relocate the brackets on the new turbo box, but if I do that, the heater will fit more forward in the car?

How has every one overcome this with the turbo conversions? Please shed some light on this?

What I do, and my own boxes are a lot bigger than most, is reposition the brackets lower and leftwards (if RHD) this allows the duct pipe to clear the cutch pedal, it doesn't give any bleed issues either

Avonbar used to sell heater relocating brackets as they used to make a lot of turbos. They might still do them as whatever name they are trading under now.

Yeah just be weary of the pipes on the clutch side as mra-minis said. Can get in the way if you don't reposition it right.
My heater has moved forwards as you suggest.
