Hi All,

I was ready to cut out my turbo box in the bulkhead today, but then noticed that the heater brackets are located where I will be cutting the fire wall out.

Now if i cut this out, do relocate the brackets on the new turbo box, but if I do that, the heater will fit more forward in the car?

How has every one overcome this with the turbo conversions? Please shed some light on this?

Cheers

Bobby

What I do, and my own boxes are a lot bigger than most, is reposition the brackets lower and leftwards (if RHD) this allows the duct pipe to clear the cutch pedal, it doesn't give any bleed issues either :-)

Avonbar used to sell heater relocating brackets as they used to make a lot of turbos. They might still do them as whatever name they are trading under now.

Yeah just be weary of the pipes on the clutch side as mra-minis said. Can get in the way if you don't reposition it right.
My heater has moved forwards as you suggest.
