Just fitted a MiniSpeed engine to our fibreglass mini but there doesn't seem to be anywhere to attach the temperature sensor.
Can you fit a remote sensor anywhere? The pipes are all so short that I can't really fit an 'in-line' sensor.
How could I go about sorting this as the usual place seems blanked off?
Thanks.

The head is blanked off or not drilled ? have you spoken with Minispeed yet ? I think one of their guys is on here quite a lot, search members "minispeed" and PM them for advice.

I don't think it's been drilled. Pretty sure it's a Metro head. Where were the temp sensors on Metro engines?

Could be an SPi head.
Are you using the heater take off on the head? You can buy a take off that's tapped for the temp sender.

Sounds like it is an SPi head then... Any chance of a link to the heater take-off with the sensor tap? Haven't seen one before.
Thanks

Can't give a direct link, but have a look for HOT3041 Heater Take Off Blanking Plate - tapped 5/8" UNF for standard temperature sensor - RetroSport billet alloy http://www.dsnclassi...y_Parts_33.html
No good if you're using the take off for the heater though.
