Hi I have converted from points to aldon electronic ignition so will I have to make my plug gap size bigger? if so what is the size? i know normally is 0.8mm and the plugs are Champion N9YC

I have the same Aldon on mine and I am running 30thou (0.762mm) The standard plug gap is 25thou (0.635mm) so if your on 0.8mm (31.49thou) now thats over standard and my opened up gap? I dont think you need go any bigger, and remember by increasing the plug gap the rest of the ignition system (Leads/Coil/Cap/Rotor) needs to be in tip top condition.

You could experiment by going bigger and see what results to get, any signs of misfiring indicates the limit of your ignition.
