If I am running a Lucas performance DLB105 coil, what are the best plugs to use with it and what should the gap be set to?
I ask this because it says that by using this coil you can increase the gap for better fuel burn.
Any ideas?

You can increase the gap to get a stronger spark, which the higher voltage coil is capable.
The 12v coil have to be feed by a 12v live + and NOT ballasted. Basically you remove the old + ve feed from the coil (usually two wires, yellow and pink iirc) and feed the +ve with a 12v live feed with ignition on.
I reccomend some resistor HT leads and non resistive spark plugs like NGK BP6ES or Champion N9Y gapped at about 30 thou. Obviousely check for missfiring, with some ignition systems i have them opened to 32 thou, others didint like anymore than 28 thou.
Leccy ignition also plays a part as it can give stronger spark than the traditional poins and condenser type, allowing for a wider gap and stronger spark.
