Im fairly sure most classic car insurance policies will only insure drivers above 25, I think there may have been some in depth topics on this recently, a search may pull something up.

Peter Best used to do ones from 21 but not sure if they still do, not much help at 18 I know but worth a phone call.

I always thought the general consensus was that the companies would not do an online quote for people below 21, but would happily give a quote for you if you rang them up!

Hi mate, looks like we're the same age. I'm 18 and will have been driving a year in August. My mini's my first car, and been insured on her since Aug last year. That cost me a £600 deposit, and the £240 a month, for 9 months. Which is mad. But I do a hell of a lot of milage. And the car's just on the drive. That's me on my own policy and a **** post code.
It should be way cheaper than this for you I hope. especially as it's your second car and the millage will be low.
I'm with Graham Sykes (lots of people on here recomended them) but they're absolute crap! Adrian flux still insure 17 year olds and they were a very similar quote. I'd pick up just a general classic car magazine and flick through, there's millions of small classic insurance companies that I've never heard of.
I hope that this was at least of some use to you in some way.

Give Adrian Flux/Flux Direct a try. I'm under 21 with 0NCB and got insured with their classic insurance for 5000miles for £750(Maybe a bit less).

Best off ringing them direct for a quote as that saved me about £100 too.

Ive seen quoted £1600 (1275cc engine) when i just turned 17, which isnt bad at all, considering other car prices. Best way is to put a low risk driver on your insurance if you can, bought mine down £700!

im 18 with zero ncb's but i got quoted the other week for £1150 TPFT and wasn't too much more for fully comp. The Admiral group seem to give me the cheapest quotes
