Having missed my old LC for years, and spent last summer getting jealous of the bikers, I bought myself a new toy and brought it home at the weekend...

I may have taken it apart already as I don't like the colour, so it's going black Z1b style, with gold disc centres and otherwise a good clean and tidyup.

Already got new tyres, plugs, leads, chain, sprockets, carb rubbers and a years MOT.
Needs an oil change and the carbs cleaning and balancing but that won't take long.

Sorry but really no. Half the reason I bought this rather than a bandit is I like the Z1 seat style.

The problem with nearly all 'streetfighters' is that they look gash.

998dave that looks lovely, I really fancy something like that or a cb750f/GSX1100EFE to join my fleet of bikes, I've really got into that era of muscle bikes big time lately :mrcool:

It's looking better in pearlescent black, and will be better still with it's Z1b inspired paintwork over the top.
Give me a few days and I should be able to show more, but as a taster...

And new Renthal bar grips were fitted.

And I've started putting it back together, rear wheel back in by Sunday I think, then I can lift the front, and pop that wheel out.
Starting to paint the tank tonight as well - nervous!

Got started on the rear wheel last night, didn't get a piccy of the back before, but here's the front;
