This is my 79 pickup project, it has plenty of rust and rot throughout the shell and will be getting a full rebuild. The floors are virtually nonexistent, the whole front end is rotten (only the grille is salvageable) the load bay has holes in it. but the cab is in good condition :D the rear subframe has a huge gap in it above the trumpet which is making the back sit very low, i'm sure this was a rare factory option ;D

The front subframe is in one piece which is good, i'm hoping to get the rebuild done fairly quickly but i think it may turn into a long term project.

I plan to build it pretty standard, paint it blue again, fit a OEW tonneau, paint the roof OEW to match it, OEW reverse rims and possibly speedwell classic bucket seats

That exhaust saves weight so i don't need the heater :D bit warm in the summer though. Its going to need complete front end, complete floor and possibly a load bay so i'm under no illusion it will be a quick project, plus i will be attempting everything myself. I'm contemplating putting a complete floor inc heelboard, would this be a difficult thing to do?

agree, not a bad starting point there. Mine was a tad rougher than yours. Main bits for me weer the load bed and roof were solid on mine )they are expensive / unobtainable lol

I think replacing floors in a pickup are part of the regular service arent they? haha

cant wait to see it when its done, dont forget to jump on minipickup.org aswell
