Its time to upgrade the metro 4 pots for some alloy calipers but which ones are the best for the money

Minispares
Minisport
KAD

Do any of you have experience using any of these and which would you choose?

Cheers for your help

Just the best value for money really, the kad are quite a bit more expensive but are they worth the extra?

KAD make the best examples of most things.

I've heard bad things about Mini Sport callipers in the past, the dust seals were falling out of the early ones under heavy braking when the calliper heated up and expanded. I don't know if that still applies.

Buy some KAD ones, beautifully made.

I used to have some minisport ones and as I was driving one day I lost my breaking. It turned out that the stupid people ad drilled too close to the outside of the caliper and a hole appeared which all my brake fluid promptly escaped!

Never buy minisport ones.

I then repalced the shi*e ones with the kad ones I was going to buy in the first place.

I'd buy in this order:

KAD
MiniSpares
MiniSport

But thats based mainly on company reputations. I'm not sure the KADs are worth the extra money, but they are the dogs danglies. The only bad things I've heard about from any of them are the MiniSport ones.

i went for the minispares ones, they are about £300, i really could not afford kad ones i have some kad parts and they are top quality but i could not justify the extra £150 for there callipers.

i havent fitted the calipers yet but the machining is quality(i make cnc milled parts all day long at work so i know good machining)

with the money you save you can get minifins and braided hoses, just like i did :ermm:
