I've had clutch hoses collapse internally before now.

Another update..... Clutch pipe changed and that seems to have solved the origional issues, system bled, clutch arm adjusted etc an all working well, the bite seems to be holding and slave cylinder is working as it should, only thing now is that the bite is right at the bottom of the pedal and there's is no resistance at all at the top of the pedal, Tis very floppy. Hoping it drives ok (about to go and test it) Don't have anymore time now as the wedding is less than 24 hours away. If this test drive is bad we're of to hire a car. Wish me luck!

It’s not completely sorted yet. Needs some fine tuning.
The bite point is rather low and the pedal is a little sloppy at the top. I’m hoping things just need tightening up a bit. I think the problem is that before we discovered it was all down to a collapsed pipe, we had messed around with things and the clutch arm was also adjusted when it didn’t really need to be. I think it just needs tinkering with but at least it’s driveable for now

Try bleeding it again, before doing anything drastic.

tiger99 - We gave that a go before the wedding, It was bled about 8-10 times hoping it would make a difference but unfortunatly not. I think it requires some more intense adjustment. I've got to get it sorted as I have sold my "everyday" car and only have the Mini at the moment.
I did know a guy (from this site) who had been doing some work for me but I'm having a bit of trouble getting in touch with him. I'd like to get it finished by someone who knows what they're doing.
