The join stitching at the bottom of my wheel has broken and is just beginning to come undone.
Anyone have any suggestions on what i might do to repair it?

You could have a go at re-stitching it.

For ease if you have a curved needle as well as a straight needle to hand, and some strong upholstery thread you should be fine. This is the kind of thread I mean:

I'm no expert but managed to restitch an entire leather wheel in about four hours following the original path of the thread. I'm a bit of a perfectionist but even I think it looks as good as new. Have a go!

Sorry, for some reason I missed your reply.

I've temporarily superglued the loose thread into place, it's lasted well and looks fine.

I wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but when this glue finally gives, maybe I'll give it a go, thanks

Hi (from a 1st poster newbie):)

If the glue gave up, give me a shout I can give you black polyester thread (or "almost" any other shade from the 15+ spools), needle etc, am just 10mins off from you
