Do a quick search on eBay and you get a good idea. I got a set with manifold for £32 in need of a refurb, have seen them go as high as £80 with a manifold. Just cleaning them seems to add £40! I guess some people don't realise that they could be dirty and perfect or clean and knackered and anywhere inbetween.

I think there MGB GT twin HIF4's from the late 70's- early 80's?, I got a set on ebay about a year ago for £30. Mine were advertised VERY dirty but I cleaned them up and they look like new now with very little wear. The standard linkages are too long and need cutting down to fit a mini but they are meant to be great carbs.
Just backing up whats already been said, I've seen clean ones go for alot more.
