Hello everyone! I have searched both the forms and the internet, but no luck. I am trying to figure out where the normal engagement point is for the clutch pedal. Mine is very high, almost at the top. I am looking around to see if there is a way to allow it to engage earlier. I have an 84 with the 998 in her. Thanks in advance!

If it is a pre-Verto, the stop bolt needs to be adjusted, followed by the throwout stop. If the bite point is too high, it is because there is insufficient clearance, and if left like that it will eventually slip, and cause serious wear.

Tiger...thanks for the info...mine is pre-Verto...waiting for the Haynes manual to come in to see if there is any standards I need to follow...I have worked on cars for many years, but never had to adjust the clutch. Looked at a few pix online and seems straight forward
