Hey guys probably an easy fix but the mini i ahve bought has heat pipes to the windscreen but not to original blowers on dash.

Can I buy a y connection to fit both outlets or do i need to attach new pipe to another part of the heater?

any help much appreciated!

The ones on the dash are fresh air vents - they are not connected to the heater....

ok but theres nothing bedind them no piping. Behind the dashboard has been filled up with fibre class?! and the vents look like they did have something attached to back of them

They are meant to fit to the bulkhead with brackets that pass right through it, in the wheel arches there is fresh air ducting for the vents. If you wanted to hook them up to the hot system then connecting them to the demist vents wouldn't be a good plan as it would really stop there being enough flow to the screen.

My flow to screen is woeful! Took them apart to day and good air coming from hose bot through the vent no obstructions so a bit puzzled!

What pipe could I use to join vents back to engine bay?

It looks like I have the van and pick up vents in my mini! I couldn't get a good look today but when I removed the plastic part of vent the metal vent was long and thin like one shown in picture do I just need to replace it all?!

Found what I was looking for on eBay for quarter if the price thankful rot he advice!
