I think I'm gonna be a bit more vague with my location, it's not that I don't trust the users in here - I don't know who else is looking, all for the wrong reasons.

fitted by turning the steering slightly right dand down, it sits next to the drivers A pillar, so the steering cant be turned, also helps if there is one turn applied to the steering before fitting the lock

If you have bought one of these, I'd suggest returning it and getting your money back. They're not suitable for the classic mini because the gear knob unscrews, meaning it can be lifted straight off.

Hmmmm, yeah well I did actually think twice before posting this info on a public forum, but then decided that you'd have to be a pretty awful car thief not to have already worked that one out for yourself. So it's probably in the greater interests of the mini owner, to warn them about something that the vast majority of classic mini thieves must know already!!...... I think!!
