So insurance is up soon and I'm just looking for some ideas/help on which insurers I should phone and what I should be looking for?

I will be 18 with 1 year no claims.
Car is not completely standard (take a look at my project thread to see what I mean)

My first year cost me £1900 tpft, limited mileage (3000) both my parents as named drivers - with Adrian Flux.

I really would like fully comp and some more miles. Should I be looking at a modified policy, I've seen other threads where people have said this works out cheaper..?

Any pointers/experiance would be greatly recieved

Adrian flux are pretty good for modified, but due to your age, if you add miles, the price can go up rapidly, which is what I will be facing. Try comparison websites, sometimes they may surprise you

Try HIC, they are pretty good for mods
