Execessive Acceleration But Doesn't Move

Could anyone tell me the reason to this unusual behaviour?
Baring in mind I do need to change my clutch oil seal. Unless I have just answered my own question, with there being oil on the clutch? But the clutch is fine apart from the oil seal
If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be great, thanks

is oil coming out of circlip hole ?
was the clutch adjusted correctly ?
I would replace clutch plate when doing seal - as even when cleaned the oil can still be in the friction material

Oil on a dry clutch will make this happen

You'll need to replace both.
Best stock up with plenty of brake cleaner to clean the flywheel, backplate and housing thoroughly while it's apart.

Oh, how joyful, only put a new clutch in 6 months ago.
What equipment do I need to clean the plates then, besides the cleaner?

Don't worry about where the hole is, and it's not a circlip, it's a 'jiggle-pin' (correct term).
You need a new primary gear seal (also called the 'Red Seal'), a brand new centre plate, a new crankshaft bolt lock washer and loads of Brake & Clutch Cleaner to get the oil off of the flywheel, back-plate and the inside of the housing and clutch cover.
You will also need either the seal installation tool or some masking tape to cover the primary gear splines when fitting the seal to avoid damage to the seal lip.

Yeah, ive got a new seal and purchasing a new plate.
Can I just use sandpaper with brake cleaner, or what tool do I need to clean it with?
