Could I run my fuel pump of a toggle switch? And also remove the inertia switch? It's a mpi set up.

Don't remove the inertia switch, its a safety item in the event of a crash.

You can run it on a toggle switch though, I just wired a toggle switch into the fuel pump wire between the pump and inertia switch.

yes if you remember to switch it off just before an accident

you wouldn't want to be stuck in the car with fuel pumping out every where

Ok keep intertia and run an inline switch. That's a job for next week.

On rally cars the inertia switch has to be removed or by-passed. If this is not done the car cuts out every time it goes over a big bump - which is quite often on a rally.
