Cooper Badges With 10" Rose Petals

Hi all! Does anybody know if these JCG centre caps can be made to fit a minispares 10" Rose petals?

Not sure but I don't think so. The Rose petals don't have any centres IIRC. Some had knock on wheel caps (like those you get on wire wheel E-type Jags) on some of the racing Cooper S's but that's the only type of centre caps I've seen fitted to Rose Petals

The reason it does not have center caps is to eliminate the chance that they would fall off onto the track during racing. Fitting one now seems to go against the spirit of the design doesn't it?

You could make them fit, but why would you, as said before you wouldn't have found them on the original wheels, with the Minispares rose petals I would be tempted to have a set of alloy centers made that would replicate the look of the original Vortz / CCC wheels, removable for balancing of course.

But surely fitting them is something unique and hasnt been done? Each to their own in the mini scene! :)

Yes, of course, but I was just raising the moral issue..... if one could be raise for wheel centers...
