I am working on a custom boot board for my 94. I have always LOVED the super simple and clean look my my MK1 Coopers one. I wanted something that just covered the floor (not the tank, sides or back) and that can be easily removed to tire access or race day. As my interior is red, I am doing it in red speaker carpet. It will contour perfectly to the right side wheel arch to give maximum usable space. For some reason I cant post pix.

So, I am at the point where I need to figure out mounting it. I am using the same idea as the MK1 for the rear (against the rear seat upright. C-type bracket) but was wondering if the mk1 front brackets will work with a Rover shell? Are the floors the same on these later shells as they are on a mk1? I was thinking of using the two support brackets from the mk1 but with rare earth magnets to hold it down. Any thought?
