Hey all,

I know this has been posted a lot before i have the links but i'm just getting bogged down in which is actually best to go for? i have seen the landy one for £15!! that seems like a good option is there anything else you need to buy or is that it? and will that be beneficial on it's own to make my 998 a lot more reliable? cheers for any advice you have, and if you have any sub £50 electric ignition options you have send em my way!!

Cheers

Nathan

Another vote for accuspark. They now do the stealth one (crap name) with adaptive dwell for £30. Very good system with only two wires to connect. Then a quick retime with a strobe light and you are done.

Without vat or post, same or more than the £25 accuspark one on eBay, without the adaptive dwell feature.

To be fair the vast and delivery don't add up to twenty five quid, it works out at less than twenty quid........ All Accuspark have done is take a standard part and rebrand it, if you want to pay for the privilege of someone else sorting it for you fair enough sucker..........
Have you checked the postage? No, I contacted them on Friday and the postage is just under £6. With the 20% vat that makes close to £25 in my book, but if you want to let someone else add stuff up for up for you, fair enough........

I have them in three cars and they work very well indeed, the new stealth ones are the best yet. AND their customer service is superb. As for Dilligaf, he just doesn't like to play nice, don't worry about what he says, no-one else does!

Right enough of the sarcastic and belittling comments. If this carries on then warnings will be issued. This will not turn into another slagging match.

The Britpart used to be less than £7 a couple of years ago :(

Couple of quid cheaper from Paddocks though

Reviving my own thread here but it's easier than starting a new thread so i'll just ask here will the following product fit my 998cc 1985 Mini Mayfair? And does anyone else have these parts fitted as i'm unsure or not as which to go for this or the above products!!

Cheers Nathan

The link you've posted will work.

Guess the question is do you need all the new components ?

If you were planning on replacing the whole lot then fair enough.

But if coil , plugs and HT leads are all in good condition then no need for the lot.
