Does anyone have a idea where to find low profile 13" tires so I don't have to cut my wheel wells open. All I can find is 155/80R13 tires and they are too tall. I know uniroyal used to make a 185/60R13 and even a 215/50R13 cause I had these on my 73 Mercury Capri.

This is what Minispares here in the UK keeps in stock - http://www.minispare.../13.aspx?200203 .  It's probably going to be cheaper for you to go directly to the Canadian importers for these tyres than pay the shipping costs.

Just about the only viable 13" tyre for a Mini is a 175/50 x 13. A 185/60 or 215/50 won't fit a Mini either.
Best to go for a 12" wheel with a 165/60 x 12 tyre which is the best width for the car and has sufficient tyre sidewall depth to allow the tyre and suspension to work well.
