I am looking to buy a set of 13x7 alleycat wheels for my 1995 rover mini cooper 1.3i, and was wondering where the best place is to buy them.

I'm going to buy these as well. you can buy them with tyres fitted, the Dunlops look good. I've fitted group 7 arches to my car to accomodate these, bought from Huddersfield as well. Excellent quality.

Apart from new arches, do you need to modify the car in any way to fit these wheels

I have these on. My car at the moment great wheels and have yokahamas on brilliant tyres. The front wheel arches need too be cut. I'm thinking about selling mine if your interested in second hand! Tom.

Yes, you will need to cut the arches and re-weld the offcuts back on:

Not the most pleasant job when your cutting into brand new wings. Fon't forget to clean up the welds inside the arches.

I also zinc primed, then seam sealed then stone chipped then primed and top coated. Just to be sure. That's the plan anyway :)

I'm not keen on the tread pattern on yokos, don't know why. Fitted a set to one of mini's a couple of years ago, good tyres though.

They are the best tyres I have fitted to any car. I do see what you mean not really retro. But then again 13 inch wheels on a mini arnt either.

You may need to fit spacers to the rear wheels if you haven't got the right drums? I wouldn't fit them as well though, would you?
