The FAM7280 (think I've got those numbers wrong) goes with the cylinder end of the valve towards the offside inner wing. With a front rear split braking system the rear brake pipe goes into the nearside hole, with the front brake pipe going to the hole nearest the offside inner wing.
To say which connection from the master cylinder goes where we'd need to know which master cylinder you have. Either which year, whether its original or new, black/yellow tag, or even better, size of the unions on the master cylinder?
