Just tried Adnams Jack microbrew..... 7.1% (I think). Very hoppy, very good.

Wonder how long it will be before Max&Paddy brings in the fosters
I dont really have a favouritre drink. It depends how im feeling. If I'm in town, it's mainly fosters, JD and coke, vodka and coke, and jagerbombs. at house parties it tends to be fancy ciders all night
FOSTERSSSSSSSSS!!!

Being allergic to both wheat & maize, that doesn't leave me with a great many brews that I can actually drink!! So by default I have to endure those hop, barley and rice based beers, such as "Bud", "Cobra" and "Tsing Tao"...... which is why I generally drink cider!! ![]()
If anyone knows of any other wheat and maize free beers though, then please do let me know!! ![]()

As long as there's Fosters, I'm happy. I do like other beers but not every pub does them.

Went to Belgium about 6 years ago and found Grimbergen Blonde. It's the nicest beer I've had in a long time (strong too!). Can't get it over here much so when the Father-In-Law pops across the Channel to France for a "Cultural Exchange" (booze run) he always brings us back a crate or two

Grimbergen's pretty nice.
Pub - place where we hold our club meets has Doombar, HPA, Emberley and Butty Bach permanently on tap. Tough choice but I'll usually go for Doombar, that is a nice pint.
Home - There's usually a crate of Cobra in the cupboard; first beer I found I actually liked. Lightest, weakest thing around, but it goes down easy. Now I'm more into my ales though, I've found special places in my heart for Bombadier's 'Burning Gold' and 'Ruddles County'.
I'm with a couple of people on here though, if I'm anywhere near the south east it's well worth stocking up on local rattler cider. Can't beat that in the summer.

Our pub only has Adnams Southwold and Broadside on tap as far as real ales go............ good but it gets old not having anything else to sample. luckily there is Tesco.
