Aspall - Yes!  My local has that on tap.

Back on beer - Newcastle Brown anyone?  And i'd buy a bottle of Lucky just for the funky bottle haha, haven't seen it in my Tescos yet though - and that's got a huge booze selection.

Got to fess up to my 'girly' summer drinks

Early afternoon sat in the garden is Pimms O'clock...with lemonade and chopped up fruit and stuff

Late afternoon becomes Gin O'clock...with tonic and a slice of lime

Wine with dinner

Then back to Fosters O'clock

Then fall asleep on the sofa

Then Snore O'clock

:D

That sounds cool, especially as it's suggested for Newcastle Brown drinkers.

What's with the Fosters love on this thread?! Vile stuff haha :P

At at music festival, we camped with an Aussie who came over here for the festival.  He genuinely had no idea what Fosters was - despite their advertising it as a major Australian lager over here.  That got a laugh.

Well i went over to the darkside drinking cocktails on holiday, but they were free and to be honest with the amount of rum the girls were throwing in them that got my vote.

Miami vices, strawberry Daiquiri's, Pina Coladas and beer. Happy days all in blue skies and 29 oC temperatures. Small beers but they went down even quicker.

Can I join this thread?

I've always been an amateur alcoholic, but I think the new Mini may turn me into a professional.

Ok, well am currently supping some Spar dry cider.

Only out of desperation - it's the only thing in the fridge.

I am planning on purchasing a Soda Stream, as  Heston Blumenthal claims it can make Blue Nun taste like a decent champagne.

Let's get busy with the fizzy.

You mean "Soda Stream" still exists??

I thought it was an 80's phenomenon from my childhood that's now long since gone!! ( a bit like Betamax Video, Rubix Cubes and children's entertainers that didn't turn out to be pedophiles!! O_O)

Never mind Betamax, I've still got a Phillips 2000 in the loft!

But yes, Soda Streams are still going - and I've never been wrongly touched by one.

I did blow one up in my granddad's kitchen though, whilst trying to make milk fizzy.

The smell was funky for quite a while afterwards

Moved onto Mr Humbole's Stella now.

I'm a bit sleepless.

For reasons apparent to anyone who's seen the photos

Wow!!! You're my toploading hero!! :w00t:

Ahhhh the memories.... I watched my first ever video on my uncles Philips 2000, which as I recall was "Rambo First Blood", then when my uncle went down the pub we found his collection of "other videos" and watched them too, one of which involved a very friendly girl called Debbie and an entire american football team!!

I've never seen that one, but I know of it.

I hear she was accommodating and flexible.

Both of those qualities are on my CV, but I don't think she worked for the NHS...
