Prague is the place to go if you like lager. Been three times, and my favourite was one called Demon, which I found in a student bar. Also, most tourist shops seemed to do "buy a t-shirt, get a free beer!" And the nuclear bunker tour I went on ended with a crate of beers being passed round.
Generally in England you can't get the good lagers like in Europe, so I stick to ales, trying something different every time, or the boxes of 15 mixed ones Morrisons sell.
Generally "going out" means spirits - whisky, absinthe (another Prague favourite of mine) and some lethal >56% Chinese spirit I bought in Beijing for 70p. After that, I invariably don't remember the night before
