Lets just say the rc40 twin box is really quiet! So i changed mine to the rc40 single box and its not overly loud it's just got a nice note to it.
Also I found that the twin box would scrape over speed bumps.

I had a twin box RC40 on my 1330 and it was really quiet to the point of near stock exhaust! I changed mine to a Maniflow 1 3/4 single box and really pleased now.

Can't speak for the twin box RC40, but the twin box Maniflow is excellent both in terms of sound and performance.

Personally I think the twin's a nice balance. If you want more noise then go for the single.

i went for a RC40 single box
it's slightly on the noisy side but can live with it and the kids can still sleep in the car

Having used RC40 single & twin and assorted Maniflow products, I use twin box RC40s as the best performing and nicest noise.
Single box versions are slightly louder but still not excessive.
