Does this make sense? Anyone have any suggestions?
I've seen others who have theirs setup this way, just not sure how they secure the switches/choke etc.
Thanks,

I made a plate which sits behind the switch panel hole. Then use the two holes to nut and bolt it. Also, cut holes in the panel for both the heater and choke cable. I will see if I have a picture.

That's definitely an option. I will probably be fitting the factory switches, but I'm sure I could still come up with something.
Thanks,

The late pickup and van had no dash rail padding but the rail was changed to the standard spec. So they have a large switch panel designed to cover the massive hole and take the rocker switches.
James962 I really like what you've done there. Didn't you want to change the hazard switch too?

Thank you Dan. Yes, my original intention was to also change the hazard switch, however the switch panel was getting a bit too over crowded in my opinion with 5 switches and 4 warning lights, so I relocated the hazard switch instead.
After I had compromised on the switches, I did swap the choke and the heater cables over, so I don't have to lean so far to pull out the choke in the morning....so the balance was restored

That looks really good - very tempted to try something like that. What did you use for the plate?
