Hi everyone

 

have been having issues with my keyfob being very intermitant, have got 2 new ones that i want to have programmed to the car.

 

have been to 3 autolocksmiths who have all tried but been unable to connect to my car using the green and white 3 pin plugs in the engine (there code readers didnt seem to want to read my car) apprarently this could be caused by some sort of software update rover have done in the past!

 

anyway does anyone know anywhere that i could get this poblem sorted?

Hi mate

I was having the same issue with my key fobs. One only worked when holding it right next to the alarm box behind the dash, the other stopped working completely.

I sent it here to be refurbished: http://www.remotekey...ver/rover-mini/

The fob came back like brand new and now works even stood a fair distance from the car.

You could send your originals to be refurbed, or your new ones along with the alarm module to be reprogrammed.
