Just give the car to me? If you catch me on MSN Dave at some point over the week then we could sort it out. IMO drawing the winner would be best at a show so no accusations of cheating goes on 'remember the flip painted mini at 2004's shows'? Sounds like a good way to do it and then enthusiasts get the opportunity to win this car and you know its gone to some1 that will be enthralled with it.

I'd say 200 might be a good number, the odds of winning are still pretty good and you should still sell all those tickets, maybe 150?

L2B is in 3 weeks???

im definetly in, how long till you can sort something out? i reckon 200 is a good number, any lower and the prcie will go up and any higher and the chance of winning goes down

£20 a ticket people can manage, will want to have ago... any more I think people will look and walk on!

£20 isn't bad, and if I had the spare dosh, I would actully get about 4-5 tickets!

I'd have a ticket or two, good idea doing the draw at a show. If you let TMF members have first dibs on the tickets and then sell any left at the show, pretty much guaranteeing that they all go so you can do the draw.

Presumably the winner wouldnt have to drive the car away from the show and could pick it up at a later date !

There shouldnt be, if someone wants to buy all the tickets bar one just think how gutted they would be if they lost !

Dont forget that it might appear on Ebay pretty quick after the draw !

Why not do a Poll and then you can count numbers of interested people?

I could be interested, as long as the draw is fair.
But then i wouldnt have anywhere to keep it :trooper:

Well because i dont have the car insured, then i would rather do the draw and then the winner can pick the car up when the time is best for them. Once a date is arranged, i will pay for insurance so that the winner can drive the car home whilst covered.

Im deffinatly going to raffle the car, the prices will stay at £20 per car and limited to 200 tickets. Once theyre gone, the draw will be held at the nearest show at the time. So if all 200 tickets go within 3 weeks, the draw could be held at L2B.

Im pretty bogged down with doing 2 minis for riviera run, but once i return on the monday i will start drawing up plans.

The spares which i was going to give once i sold the car, will also go to the winner. from memory a few things are. old skool spax coilovers (one needs new seals).. metro turbo spares, morspeed turbo pistons, an old clubby zeemax bonnet, and other parts. unsure of what i have.

Ill keep everyone posted on the progress. May one lucky bugger get a cheap car!

Are you going to set a definite end date for this? Say if you only sold 150 tickets?

I was going to let the ticket sales run on until all 200 have gone. i would like to set a timeframe of one month so that its around the time of most shows. The draw will be fair, which is why i want someone else to do it for me.

I am going to advertise this raffle in a few places. but tickets will only be avilable from TMF, so it should also help with advertisement of the forum.

A deadline for ticket sales is probably a good idea, maybe 4-5weeks. If i did not quite make 200 then i could still go ahead with the raffle, which would make the chances of winning even higher.

Why not use the spares as secondary prizes ? Wouldnt take much more work and would mean more chance of winning something so more ticket sales :trooper:
