What does it run of?
Normal unleaded. I am trying and failing to remember the make. It's a fat red thing which isn't very helpful!

But only at low settings as you would for car bodywork. Any heavy duty stuff has to run off the main supply.

you could just use a 13amp extension lead if its only a small welder, im currently using a 20meter 13amp extension reel to run my Clark EN100 and the lights in my garage with no problems.
